Some guys from the Santa Maria Valley Railway Historical Museum (SMVRHM) showed up today and helped start the rebuild of tunnel no. 1. First step, uncover it...    The camera caught these guys praying to the railroad gods for safe passage through tunnel no. 1.   Karl briefed a few of the guys on proper train loading in preparation for next Saturday's fundraiser with the SMVRHM.  There were a couple trains running today.     |
