  Joel (and Bob) were working continuity issues on the signal system.   This crew from the Chico Pacific worked cleanup.   Bud and Dayle worked on the PCRy electric.  Of course.  The top of Tunnel #1 today. The tunnel is being unearthed for refurbishment.    Brad (President of the SLO RR Musem) cleans signals in preparation for tomorrow's TrainFest.   |
 One of the more interesting projects today was moving Mattei's Tavern from the carbarn near the yard out to the Hobo Gulch Lumber Mill area.    Just a couple inches clearance!     Mike works some switch issues.      Mattei's Tavern (aka a tool box "shed") now sits near the Hobo Gulch mill.  All this activity was in preparation for tomorrow's TrainFest, a fundraiser for the San Luis Obispo Railroad Musem. |
