LETTER: “A good pair of ears and radar guns” will solve road problems

“It’s not hard to tell when motorcycles are coming up the street, as most will easily exceed the speed limit within two gear changes,” says the letter’s author.

The police and the regulations have the tools to control this serious problem.

You don’t need fancy equipment to control this just a good set of radar ears and guns.

If it’s not stock, charge them. Warnings are a waste of time.

Most afternoons or evenings it is ridiculous how many noisy vehicles there are. I live around the corner and you can’t even talk when the cars, trucks and motorcycles drive away from the stop sign.

The speeding part is a joke as speeds range from normal to sometimes near over 100 kilometers per hour.

It’s not hard to tell when motorcycles are coming up the street as most will easily exceed the speed limit within two gear changes.
