Trakm8 launches the search for road safety heroes

Trakm8 has launched a competition to find Britain’s ultimate safety hero to mark this year’s Brake Road Safety Week (14 – 20 November).

To reward drivers who go above and beyond to keep UK roads safe, nationwide fleet managers are being asked to nominate a member of their team by Friday the 11the November. Trakm8 seeks to shine a spotlight on fleet professionals who have made a real difference to safety on the road and who exemplify the core values ​​and principles of Road Safety and Braking Week.

Trakm8 will announce the top five entries at the start of Road Safety Week via its social media platforms. The winner will then be announced at the end of the week and will receive a £250 Amazon voucher as the prize.

“This year, the theme for Road Safety Week is Safe Roads for All. We are looking for a driver who has really gone the extra mile to embody this and works proactively to keep the roads safe.

Trakm8 has been a long time supporter of Brake and we are excited to once again host the search for road safety heroes. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of the best UK fleet drivers whilst promoting safety on UK roads.

Last year’s inaugural prize winner was Gary Nicol, delivery driver for LKQ Euro Car Parts. Gary displayed extreme bravery in the line of duty when he rescued the occupants of a crashed car that was submerged in water.
